In cooperation with the renowned Fraunhofer IIS, we are pleased to offer innovative 5G test environments that are specifically tailored to the needs of companies and authorities. Through this collaboration, we can provide tailor-made testing facilities for the latest mobile technologies and help our customers to optimize their production, assembly and logistics processes. The testbed in Rosenheim offers the right environment for automotive applications.

 

The manufacturer-independent 5G test environments in Nuremberg, Erlangen and Rosenheim offer interested parties the opportunity to test Open-RAN 5G-SA technology, the latest generation of WLAN and UWB technologies under real-life conditions. These modern technologies enable companies to make their workflows more efficient and take full advantage of 5G connectivity.

 

As members of the 5G ACIA (5G Alliance for Connected Industries and Automation), together with Fraunhofer IIS, we will submit a joint application for the Nuremberg and Erlangen sites as a recommended testbed as part of the 5G ACIA “Validation and Testing” program in the first half of the year. This initiative underlines the joint commitment to innovation and practical solutions in 5G technology.
