BAYFU receives the German Excellence Award 2023 in the "Digital Champions" category

This year, Bayerische Funknetz GmbH receives the successful German Excellence Award 2023 in the category "Digital Champions".

The award ceremony took place at the Bertelsmann Representative Office in Berlin on Jan. 26, 2023.

Together with the news channel ntv and DUP-UNTERNEHMER magazine, DISQ the German Institute for Service Quality awarded outstanding and innovative solutions and services in the context of digital transformation. The decision was made by a top-class jury.

The award is being presented for the fifth time. A total of 162 submissions from established companies, startups and initiatives went through the application process. Following the decision of the jury with great expertise, 31 participants were allowed to receive the award.

The motto of the German Excellence Award is "digital, innovative, creative", which will provide new impetus for the economy. Brigitte Zypries (former Federal Minister of Economics and Technology) is optimistic: "There are many great achievements in Germany in the transformation process - we must ensure that they also become known and can thus serve as a model for others. The German Excellence Award fulfills this task: It puts digital innovations in the spotlight; they should serve as inspiration for other companies."
